elephants - a formless form

when i see an elephant's nose, that reminds me of a formless form - a form of becoming - of first life.
these are elephants, but these are not elephants. i don't want to express the incongruity in philosophy.
i'm not trying to make an individual elephant but a common image of elephant - the origin of life, which is one of what i'm trying to make these days.

time is a tail.

time is like a tail; it has a begining and an end.
and it also has three stages - reality( present), reflection( past), and possibility( future).

the universe ----is circle form.

"The vertical and horizontal lines are not simple lines, but the essential elements making the frame of the universe."
                                                                    -Piet Mondrian

- the frame of the universe is the cubic that consist of the vertical and horizontal lines. but in a wider perspective, the universe is the circle that consist of the curve lines. look at the solar system.

time track

we are trapped in time track, appearing and disappearing.
time is the attribute of our life.
i'm going out of the time zone to search for another life - substantial life, Plato's world'.

scars

-there are two sorts of scars. one is physical one, the other is mental one. we can easily recognize the former, but we can hardly recognize the latter, because it is hiding under our subconciousness. even though we can hardly see it, they affect our life sometimes seriously. they can make someone suffer depression and make a criminal. on the other hand, it can make someone a pioneer or a great man.

i tried to express the both images in this work - creepy(disgusting) and tempting. they have biomorphic shapes because they have their own life.
